The company that I work for is using Maximizer 5.0 which each user has the software on their computers. The server does not. It just keeps user files on the network. We are all unable to open the address book which is stored on the network. What solutions are there to get the address book open again?

I would appreciate an answer as soon as possible. Mahalo

Maximizer 5.0 uses btrieve database engine which would need to be correctly configured for either a workgroup or client server operation in order to access the database on your server correctly. Since btrieve 6.15 has been a discontinued product for many years your only option would be to attempt to configure it correctly for a workgroup. I am afraid Maximizer 5.0 is a product that is now over 10 years old and I would suggest that you consider the benefits of upgrading to Maximizer Entrepreneur 11 or Team edition which will utilise a more reliable Microsoft SQL database and provide you with many new and updated features as well as compatibility with the Windows 7 operating system.
