Can you combine Maximizer Enterprise 7.0 and Maximizer Exchange 7.0 on one server?

Yes you can have both Maximizer Server and MaxExchange on the same machine. Although you will want to consider the risks of exposing your Database server to the outside world. MaxExchange uses FTP to transfer packets (anyone using email as an exchange method is WRONG) You need to have port 21, 10035... and up (depending on number of users)open on your firewall to allow the transfer to take place. Your MaxExchange Server should normally be placed in a DMZ zone where it is exposed to outside use but your database server is protected because it is not in the DMZ. Combining the two and exposing the DB server to Internet weirdo's like myself leaves you open to malicious activity. Keep in mind that MaxExchange does not need to be run on a true server, any moderately powered workstation will suffice, so cost should not be the reason you want to combine the two applications.
