Hi,

We are using maximizer 7.5 pervasive WGP and one of the workstation cannot access
to the global adressbook. The maximizer global DB is stored on a WIn
XP Pro (not simple sharing file).
The workstation that cannot connect to the Global adressbook is a
maxexchange remote.
I delete the PVSW.loc file without any changes.
If i log on first the server, the workstation cannot connect. if i
connect first the workstation, the server can connect (but the
Pvsw.loc is wrong : PC1\\SERVER\......)
I check the shared folders, i uncheck orderdesk, but i cannot find the
solutions.

Any idea would be appreciated.

Ozzy, on the server start the Maximizer Administrator and go to Utilities>>Install Multi-User License and remove all your licenses.

Then exit the administrator.

Manually create a new ~PVSW~.loc (you can do this with Notepad) and put just the servers name in it, save this file into the address book folder and close notepad. Then set the file to be read only.

Restart the Maximzier Administrator and go back to Utilities>>Install Multi-User License and re-enter all your license keys.

Exit the administrator then start it back up and open and log into each addres book in turn.
