I bought a new computer and successfully installed Maximizer 9 (or so I thought).
The email I use is Microsoft Office Outlook 2007.

I'd like to email contacts.

But when I double click on a contact's name to email, nothing happens, ex an error message saying that I must use supported email, such as Outlook.

I am using Outlook.

Am I missing some kind of connection betweem Maximizer and Outlook?

Thanks very much.

Thank you for replying. Unfortunately, that wasn't the issue, because Outlook was set as my default mail program.

I called Maximizer customer support and asked their advice.

They told me to have only two items ticked (on) in File- Preferences- email:

1. show unread messages in blue, and
2. read messages using email service provider's editor.

This helped to some degree; they told me to turn off (untick) the preference that said:
"compose messages using email service provider's editor."

They told me that this wasn't an optimal solution but the best they have to recommend at this time.

Nothing else is checked in that list.

So now, based on that changed, I technically can send emails from Maximizer, using Outlook.

But they are a disaster.

As soon as I type the Subject at the top of the email and hit enter, Maximizer sends the email, even before I've entered anything in the body of the email.

I can't do question marks or apostrophes.

And who knows what else is wrong? This is just what I've discovered in the first five minutes.

Clearly, this is not a good solution.

Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Thank you.
