We have CRM 11 installed on SBS2008 server and we are having a major issue with getting the dashboard feature to work.

We have had some experience of having a working dashboard on SBS2008 when using CRM 10.5 but unfortunately in getting it to work it messed up other core aspects of the server.

After installing CRM11 our support guys set about getting the dashboard feature to work but in doing so it messed up Exchange so nobody could send/receive emails. We have come across a number of suggestions and so called 'fixes' for this issue but our IT guys who look after the server are reluctant to apply these 'fixes' as they are aware that they will break other core parts of the server.

Does anybody else out there have/had this sort of problem?

We believe this problem is quite likely due to .net registration issues. However, it is also possible if you are running exchange 2010 that the installation of Maximizer may have conflicted with some of the settings in IIS. Due to the complexity of resolving these issues we can not comment further here but may be able to help you on a consultancy basis if required.
