Crystal Reports

I use Maximizer 9

When I try and create a custom Crystal report I get the following error message:

In order to create new reports or modify existing reports, you will need to install Crystal Reports XI. This can be found on the Maximizer 9 CD labeled "Crystal Reports XI for Maximizer".

But I have already installed Crystal reports.

ANyone know how to fix this problem?

Try uninstalling and reinstalling CR_XI for Maximizer...?

I got that problem when I had remove and reinstall max9, it seem he loose the link to CR. The thing is to backup address book, then uninstall Crystal R, and maximizer. Reinstall Max, then it will ask you if you want to install CR into the process, wich is YES, then it will ask to insert disk CR.

Hi..Feejo.
Is that the only way that worked? cause when i run maximizer 9 in Administrator mode, it can create a crystal report. only in user mode i can't create a crystal report.

I ran into this problem too. For me, it was because we run another program that uses Crystal Reports (v8) in a minimal way. This other program that we use does not require crystal reports to be installed but it still causes grief with maximizer.
