Default value for Notes

In Maximizer if you go to the Address Book area then click Edit>>Default Note you can create a default note entry.

This default is created per user though so you will need to do this for each user on your system.

What is the size of notes field in maximizer? In which table does the notes get stored?

In Maximizer version 9 a note has a maximum size of approximately 9000 characters.

AMGR_NOTES_TBL in Maximizer 9 has a column called TextCol which is 256 character long. Is this the table that stores notes entered in maximizer?

Under MS_SQL: Yes, that is the table. However, TextCol is of type "text" which can actually be longer than 256 characters.

Under Pervasive: Sort of.


Be advised that if you want to manipulate note information under MS_SQL you should use the "AMGR_Notes" view, not the "AMGR_Notes_Tbl" table.
