Details area ( in appointment or hotlist item) limitation

Havent' counted characters, but for Task description it sounds about right. I would prefer it be larger as well - for instance, it's less than with the Palm To-Do list, which can make cyncing a bit tricky. The only way around it I've found is to create a Max Journal entry for more volumnius data.

Yeah, or maybe an attached document to the contact containing the details... execept of course if it's a personal activity for the user, not associated with a contact... It interesting how a Pervasive 9.1 backend with a max database size of apparently 128GB for Max9-- which totally trumps Act! 2006 standard ( 2GB limit with MSDE 2000) and Goldmine ( 6.7 is still dbase with a 4 gig limit there ) lets you store info for an activity enough for just the head of a pin... Thanks for the response. I wonder what the limit is for a journal entry.
