Maximizer 5 is the entry level version of Maximizer if you are a single user (or a small team) Maximizer 5 is a good way to start.
Maximizer Enterprise 5 is the main Maximizer product it contains many features that are not in the entry level product such as sales opportunity tracking (to help you forecast and track sales leads in detail) and enhanced security. Most businesses quickly find that Maximizer Enterprise is the version they need as it supports larger network teams (>5 to 10) and Max Exchange synchronisation for laptops and other offices. There is also an industry standard Microsoft SQL server version of Enterprise 5.

Ian is right, but there is one more important feature. Maximzier Enterprise can be used with MaxExchange 5.0; Maximizer 5 cannot.
