Q1. How many others experience data corruption to the extent that they must restore their address books? How frequent?
Q2. Anyone running a "pure" v6 address book on MaxExchange and not experiencing any data corruption?
Q3. If you run MaxExchange Server v6/v7, which OS do you run it on?
Q4. If you've moved from v6 w/sp2 to v7, how would you rate your experience with 7 (Worse:Same:Better, than v6)?
Q5. Has anyone upgraded from the workstation pervasive engine to the "server" based version and experienced a boost in reliability?
Q6. Do you feel the utilities provided by MultiActive are sufficient to manage the integrity of your Maximizer Address book(s)?

Why all the Qs?
I'm running a v6 MaxExchange Server (upgraded from a v5 MaxEx Svr). I've had an ongoing problem with data corruption for at least a year now. It started ever since I upgraded from v5. At first we had a "Global Edits" issue where changes made on a remote user's AB would only partially make it to the server -some changes made it to the server while others failed. Service Pack 2 seemed to fix that issue. Another issue surfaced recently where the email messages added to a company/contact/individual would overwrite the existing email address if the email address was blank. It was determined by the tech that the address book was again corrupt. Following the backup and restore methods prescribed by the tech, the address book developed a new symptom -record IDs for new opportunities weren't being generated. Contact MultiActive and I'm told that the address book must be corrupt. I'm then informed that I can buy in to their data recovery services. The backup and restore utility in the Maximizer program neglected to inform me at any time that a file may be corrupt. Instead it quite happily told me that all entries, notes, docs, etc had been backed up successfully.
