Has anyone worked with the Document Management feature within Maximizer CRM?

If I convert the documents (Max email, Max word doc, ms word doc, excel, etc...) stored in the database to be stored on a network folder, can the Max email & Max word doc opend with MS Word or does it still required MaxDoc to open and view the contenct of these documents?

What impact will it have on the end users if I activate it during busines hours?
Will it have an effect on the performance?

As an experiment, I am planning to test it on a small set of dated documents.
Any input is appreciated.

HI there
I am new here,and i found there is a Document Management feature within Maximizer CRM.I am looking for a which supports to view the word doc offline.Is it possible for that?If that so ,i'd like to have a try.Thanks for any suggestion.
