One of the things that I do not like about Act 2005 is that even for single user, the Sql Server database engine graps memory on PC startup even if Act is never used and does not release the memory when Act is shut down.
Does the Pervasive database engine run only when the single user Maximizer is running or does it also run all of the time?
Why do I care? When many programs run on startup when they may never be needed that day, it creates quite a resource load. Don't mind the resources being used when required, just not happy with them being used when not required.
