I can see all personal folders, but some will not allow me to drag messages into them. When I try I only get a circle with a slash through it and nothing happens. Yet with others it woks no problem.
Max tech support says drag & drop "should" work but there is nothing to troubleshoot. Only solution is to re-install everything ... I assume this means Max as well as Outlook.
This shotgun approach is less than attractive. Am I the only one who has ever had this problem? Has anyone else found a different, or more precise way to deal with it?
Trying Outlook email integration again with Outlook 2000 and Max 7 SP-2. Still same problem but with further data - there are some folders I cannot drag & drop a message into. These same folders have messages in them, but I cannot drag any of these messages out.
ANy ideas? Anyone else having this problem? I've checked the Max knowledge base and there's very little (read : nothing) of assistance there.
Problem : - When viewing Outlook Folders in Max 7 using Extended MAPI, some folders will not allow messages to be dropped into, or dragged out of them; Drag & Drop works fine for these folders in Outlook
Likely cause : - Corruption of external indexes used by Extended MAPI
Workaround : - Create new folder, move messages into it from folder with problems, delete folder with problems, rename new folder to original folder name
Questions :
- Max 7 & Max Enterprise 7 support Extended MAPI - Max Enterprise 7.5 doesn't support Extended MAPI - Will Max 8 support Extended MAPI?
I have had similar problems with the intergration of MAX 7 and outlook 2002. Maximizer quote on there web site that they have "seamless intergration". Well not in my experience! You are not alone
