Entering text to a table formatted field

With a user defined field set up as a table we would like to allow the user to select option other and then add text. We do not want a new entry added to the table as it could be for values that will only be used occasionally.

You'll need to create a separate alpha UDF and put the miscellaneous entries in there. You can add a value to the table-type UDF such as "Other" to indicate that.
