Error code 11... Invalid File Name

Is your database on network? If it is make sure that your network server is up. One of my clients had the exact same error this morning and she didn't have access to the R:\database. If that didn't work try deleting the name from the list and creating a new address book folder.

The server is up. I'm actually trying to run Maximizer from the server. I can't access the address book from the server. I think that a file may be corrupted but I don't know which one to look for. When I try to go to Utilities, Backup Address Book Folder I get the same error. When you say delete the name from the list, what list are you refering to? I can't even create a new address book folder. I get the same error message anytime I try to do anything to an address book folder.

How are you trying to access the database?

By UNC path or Mapped drive?

i.e. \\SERVER\sharedfldr\MaxData or X:\MaxData

Go to File>Open address book and highlight the DB exibiting this error. Where does it say the folder location is?

I am accessing the database by mapped drive..C:\Program files\Maximizer\Groups is the path. I can't even get to the window that lists the databases......Before that window pops up after selecting Open address book folder I get the invalid file name error on Directory file error.

Is this error only on the server?

What version of Maximizer are you running?

Is this Maximizer 7? if so, have you had any previous versions on the server prior to putting this version on?

Yes, the error is only happening on the server. Don't laugh but we are running version 4.0, we are planning to upgrade later this year.

Did anyone find a solution to this problem?! I am having the same problem with one of my clients. I have tried switching between UNC and shared folders to the database to no avail! I've also tried everything on the maximizer website relating to this error!
