Error on "write a letter"

I want to put the name and address from a Max 8 address book entry into a word document. I had in mind to "write a letter" then copy and paste the address (we have specific templates for all our letters so that would be easiest right now) but I get the error:

Microsoft visual C++ Runtime error r6030 CRT not installed. Any ideas?
