Hi,
I have an issue that is occurring more frequently. There are two symptoms but I don't know if they are related. Max 10 Entrepreneur, Windows 7 Pro.

First, when I enter my password into Maximizer, I sometimes get the error message in the attached screenshot. If I shutdown maximizer and try again, eventually it will accept my password. Other times, I have to restart Windows and it will accept my password on the first attempt. Most times, maximizer excepts the password without a problem and works fine all day. I don't leave my laptop on overnight, I started again each morning.

The second symptom, which has just now appeared and has become more frequent, is when I search, for example a last name or company name I know is in the database, the list comes up empty. If I click review, all individuals and companies, the list also comes up empty. But if I leave the laptop for a few minutes and come back, maximizer works as normal and individuals or companies I was searching for previously now appears in a search. Same thing happens with calendar entries, but I open the calendar sometimes there are no appointments when there should be. if I open and close, or leave maximizer first few minutes and try to open the calendar again, all my appointments are there. I have checked to see if I have inadvertently set a filter, but I make no changes and eventually my contacts and calendar re-appear.

Has anyone else experienced this, is this a sign of imminent failure? My installation is relatively fresh from July 2009 when I upgraded to Windows 7 RC. I installed the the retail version when it came out in October 2009.

If you are getting the message shown in the screen shot then you must follow the instructions given. This is simply that you must reset your Maximizer password. This may not be a resolution for everything you are experiencing but you should fix one thing at a time.

With respect to comments made by MAXGRX this could simply be a training issue since data is reappearing when you log in again. This suggests the data is there but that you are not seeing it perhaps due to some of the settings or searches you have recently executed.
