I recognize this is a CABC product and they are the generous hosts of this board, so we need to be respectful. However, I would like to get as much background as possible while we are evaluating the product. I've described our situation below - any thoughts/recommendations/tricks/traps are appreciated - please email them to me if you would prefer they not be posted on this public board.
Our need :
As we all know, the Maximizer word processor is very basic. MaxDoc appears to provide seamless linkage to Word, with all its powerful tools (especially for us, the use of tables). In particular, the ease of linking the document to the Address Book entry and storing it in Maximizer directly from Word is very attractive - the standard Save to File System/"Add Document" procedure is too clunky for us.
System :
We're using Max 7 and Word 2000 with 5 users (a few more soon)under Terminal Services with the server running Windows 2000 Advanced Server and the stations running a mix of XP Professional and Windows 2000.
