Gateway permanent assignment

I've got Max Enterprise 7.5 installed om a peer to peer environment with 2 machines running Win 2k. I machine acts as the server, the other a client.
I am sharing an address book on the server and I trying to permanetly assign the server machine as the gateway using the Pervasive Gateway Locator utility. It seems like it is successfull and I get a tick next to the Permanent assignment box but everytime I exit the utility and enter it again it defaults back to the gateway being unassigned.

I am I doing something wrong? Please help me. Thanks

No, it probably is still permanent in what ever location your database is.

The Gateway Locater program defaults to C:\PVSW\BIN which i am pretty sure doesn't contain your database so won't have a gateway assignment applied to it.

If you browse it to your database it will more than likely reveal the assignment again
