How do you get the most out of Maximizer if you don't know what it can do?
We bought Maximiser last year, we are a small IT company and primarily bought the software to manage our day to day support requests. The idea being that longer term we can start toi use other functions. The problem is that we don't really know what Maximizer can do and therefore are not getting much out of it. We paid to have the product installed and also had a days training and while the guy was ok on thr training he wasn't an 'experienced user or office manager' etc and so couldn't really tell us how to get what we want out of the system.
I have a saying at the moment "if you don't know then you don't know" and I think this is particulalry true in this instance. I have an idea of what we want to get out of the software but not knowing how to go about this means how do we get the information. Am I making any sense!!
I think we need someone who has used the product to tell us, or we need an idiots guide to getting the most out of Maximiser. The key things that we are after to start with are:
1. Automatic billing, we have paid an SQL admin to write some code and this seems to be working to an extent.
2. An overview of peoples work loads without having to browse all the calls
I believe there are loads of great features we could get out of the product but don't have the time to research it at the moment and would love a 'how to' book.
If anyone has any suggestions then i would be very greatful. Even comments as to what people use Maximizer for themselves, obviously the more related to ITsupport the better.
It all comes back to "if you don't know then you don't know" and I don't know.
Thanks
