I have a client who has approximately 20 sales reps and 10 inside agents. They are considering using Maximizer for their CRM solution. All 20 sales reps would need to sync their databases to the central database and the 10 inside agents would work off the main database. I'm wondering if anyone knows what the user limits of Maximizer and Maximizer Enterprise are with regards to the numbers of users and also the number of records (ie accounts, contacts, opportunities) that Maximizer can handle without many issues.

The scenario you've described is well within the capabilities of Maximizer Enterprise running client/server.

>and also the number of records (ie accounts, contacts, opportunities)

Unofficial rules of thumb that I use when discussing requirements with clients:

<10 users and <10,000 address book entries: Maximizer Enterprise, workgroup config.

>10 users or >10,000 address book entries: Maximizer Enterprise, c/s config.
>When you say workgroup config and c/s config, are you refering to:
>workgroup: full address book data transfers
>c/s: client server using MaxExchange

No,

- workgroup configuration: Accessing a shared address book via the Pervasive.SQL Workgroup engine.

- client/server configuration: Accessing a shared address book via the Pervasive.SQL Server engine.

For a better understanding of how these configurations differ, contact Multiactive and ask them to refer you to a Business Partner in your area.
