Does anybody know if Maximizer will support the iCal function? I know that GoldMine has supported this for sometime now.

And wouldnt it be great of Max supported something like the Goldmine GM+ view, which as you know takes the current contact, and uses a tab to display live internet info based on one or more fields. This is also now in Filemaker 8.5. The only problem is if goldmine was so modern and complete, we wouldnt be here now, but we are, apparently... From great beginnings, and still-great-to-use technology, Goldmine has given the appearance of being orphaned. Their backend is still dbase, whereas Max has been using Pervasive for 100 years now, it seems. To get Goldmine's 7.0 version, you HAVE to buy their expensive maintenance package, even if you're a small fry. And Max it appears already supports Vista on 8.5, whereas the people and support forums at goldmine still dont have a clue. It would be nice to have features picked and chosen from each product, but alas, there seems to be no perfect CRM. For all it's misgivings, Max at least is focused and committed to the CRM market, although I wish there would be a vibrant and well-trafficed support forum where you dont need to wait a week or two between answers... These are the days of our lives...
