Hi,

I am new to Maximizer and I have a simople question for now. I imported my data from Goldmine to Maximizer. I cannot seem to figure out when you send an email or receive an email and you look at the customers history, How can you indentify what was incoming mail and what was outgoing mail ?
I thought of using the category field to preset in it "incoming Mail" and "outgoing Mail" BUT I am not sure what the category filed is used for and I may be using it for the wrong purpose.

How can I identify which email is which ?

This is a very good observation. You could use the category to identify the direction of email.

There is nothing built into Maximizer to do this and you usually just judge it from the title and context in the history. I think that this would be a good idea for you to post on Maximizer suggestions list at www.maximizer.com.

If you are working in a multi user Maximizer system then you may like to consider deploying an add-on CABC have recently created which copies into the category field information about who an email was from and to. This application runs as a service in the background so you don't actually need to do anything other than store the email.
