I am trying to import from Act! into Maximizer about 1900 contact records. During the import process the import manager hangs (Maxport or whatever was provided with the Maximizer program). Short of using the ctl-alt-del key combonation to kill the import manager I have found no way to prevent this problem or to get any response from my computer. I have experienced this same problem with both Maximizer version 5.0 and 6.0. Needless to say the notes, history, calander items are missing. Most of the contact records do seem to be intact but are useless without the notes and history that I lose.
Installation is a single user on a Win 98 notebook not configured for peer to peer file sharing.
Does anyone have any suggestions to resolve this?
