Okay,
My computer recently had a critical error and I had to reinstall windows. There was no way for me to access the computer and back up my Mazimizer data, except by means of putting it in a different computer and ccpying files off the drives.

I've copied everything in my documents folder, including a Maximizer Reports (or Database?) folder. How can I import the files in this folder to Maximizer?

*Just to remind, I was unable to create a standard backup via the Maximizer program. (No access to Windows XP)

Hi There,

If you are using Maximizer 9/9.5 Pervasive or a previous version then you can simply click File>>New Address Book and give it a name and then browse to the location of the files you copied (make sure you delete any file called ~PVSW~.loc in the folder you copied over) and access the data as normal.

If you are running 10/10.5 or an SQL version then the process is more complicated and I would suggest you contact your Maximizer business partner to discuss getting your system recovered.
I believe I am using Maximizer 9.5 Pervasive.
I tried the File>> New Address Book>> browsed to the file location. Just about everytime, it doesn't do anything. It basically just sends me to the address book, except that it's completely blank.

On one occasion I would constantly get the "error code CS-03020 in displayApps():undefined Description: 'inner width' is undefined." When clicking the majority of the left-side tabs. (Calendar, Personal, Company Library, etc)

I also see a number of backup files (.SAV), how do I use those to restore the data to maximizer?

I can't seem to enter administrator mode>>Utilities>>Restore Address Book as it's Greyed Out.

Would like any suggestions as soon as possible, Thanks!
Good Morning,

The Restore Address Book option is grey'd out because you are logged into a database, in the Administrator click File>>Close Address Book and try again.

If you still cannot get the data restored I would suggest you contact your Maximizer Business Partner and ask them for assistance as you may have a corrupted database.
