Installing Pervasive 9 Server to Max Ent 8 environment

One would assume that this is for the benefit of some other application that uses Pervasive.SQL. If so, then you really should contact a Maximizer Business Partner and have him/her talk to a support representative for the other application to ensure that the upgrade can accommodate both.

Yes, we are using pervasive for two different applications. We wanted to use max 8 with pervasive 9 so that we could do a transitioned upgrade, but we finally got through to max tech support and they told us that it is not possible, so we are upgrading everything all at once.
