Macro to open an Maximizer template

I want to put some icons on the toolbar that opens certain Maximizer templates ready for editing & saving. Is there a way to create a macro to open a Maximizer template? I have tried recording a macro but when I replay it stops at the open template dialog box. Unless there is a way to open the template using the Open document or application option when customizing the toolbars. Using Maximizer 9 Thanks
