I am rather new to the board and did some research on the madata6.dat.exe error message. Our users get this message periodically throughout the day, every day when they click "Send" on e-mails. We have pretty much determined that it is a conflict with our anti-virus software, but turning off script-blocking is not an option for us.

Are there any updates or new techniques on getting around this issue? I have users coming to me every day complaining about this and I feel like an idiot when I can only tell them to restart the program. I've read previos posts and tried what they suggested, but have had no luck.

Also, is this solely a Maximizer issue that causes this error messages, or is it a Pervasive issue as well? I ask because we have the option to switch to SQL if that might help with the problem.

Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

We are using Max Enterprise 8 with the latest service update. We use Outlook 2000 and it is not set up as Corporate/Workgroup.

We've considered using the Maximizer email editor, but it isn't as flexible as Outlook's and most of our users aren't very happy with it.

If there's any help that you can offer, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
