When I upgraded to Max 10 I was told there would be a way to send mass e-mails out to all customers in my database (about 2000), now that I upgraded nobody seems to know anything about this. Is there a way to do this?

If you are using Maximizer 10 Group or Professional/Enterprise editions then you should use the campaign manager for large email campaigns such as this. You will find information in the manual but we recommend training on this feature.
If you are using Maximizer 10 Entrepeneur you can send large emails by clicking the right hand mouse button on the address book list and choosing to send email. However, this is not a recommended approach for quantities as large as 2000 emails as all the emails have to be sent through your outlook. I would advise that you send out smaller groups and wait for them to clear the system. If you need to mail merge your email, use file/merge to email in the Maximizer word processor. Again, I would keep the batch size minimal.
