Sometimes they work with hundreds of emails in a single blast, and sometimes they don't. We just did a test with an email blast to 5 selected entries - first time it failed, second time (30 seconds later) it worked, though we followed the same procedures with the same list and message/template both times.

Running Max 11 Entrepreneur with Hotfix 1 and Outlook 2010, and when sending am using "Separate messages", Saving Copy", "Log to Notes" and "To" (not bcc).

Anyone else having this problem? Anyone successfully using Outlook 2010 with Max 11 ENtrepreneur?

I actually contacted them about this issue four months ago and never heard back. I called again yesterday and was told that this is not a problem with the software and that i am the only one this happens to. This is not the first post on here about it.

It is frustrating because when it crashes, outlook logs who the email went to before the crash incorrectly and when you try repeated times to send the email, having to rebuild the list each time and remove contacts who outlook says it already went to, some people get the email repeated times, and others don't get it at all.

If anyone has any idea about what might help with this issue, i would love to have a solution.
You should be able to reliably use this feature to send small mail shots. If you are attempting to send large volumes of email then you may in our experience have problems which seem to result from the overall operation of trying to command hundreds of email, create, send instructions between Maximizer and Outlook. This is not necessarily a problem with Outlook 2010 and could arise with any email client as it seems to be due to the overall workload.

If you need to send large volumes of email we would recommend you consider purchase of the group or enterprise version of Maximizer which incorporates the email campaign manager component. This is specifically designed to facilitate the sending of large volumes of email without passing them to outlook and offers additional benefits such as "click tracking"

CABC, appreciate the response but I mentioned I had the problem sending to a group of 5 test email addresses. That's pretty small!

1) Is the Entrepreneur version the problem? The tech for one Max business partner said that was the issue.

2) What constitutes a "safe" size for a single shot? We were using Max 7 with Pervasive abd found we had to send 70 at a time. We could do it but needless to say that was apinful. I'd have thought newer versions would fix this sort of issue.
