Max 12 Entrepreuner on Win 7 64 bit

I am having problems installing Max sql server. I am upgrading from Max 10.

I am getting "Cannot install SQL Express Server or the current existing one does not work properly.

There are a couple of issues in the Max support kb for Max 10 and Max 11, but that has not helpled.

I had a similar problem when upgrading to version 12. The solution is to back up SQL database + s credentials, then completely remove SQL Server and start the Maximizer installer again.

This problem can be fiddly and is addressed in other threads. So please check around the site.

You either have a broken component on your computer (eg .net) or a pre-existing component of SQL which is causing the conflict.

I tried removing various SQL components but eventually I had to rebuild my machine.
