Hi,

All the computers in my office run maximiser 5.0 but for some reason the one I am using won't access the address book folder and comes up with an error code 20 saying "A RECORD MANAGER INACTIVE error occured on the 'Directory' file. The BTRIEVE program must be loaded prior to loading this program."

Could anyone help?

This means Maximizer can't talk to the database engine. You need to see if W32MKDE.exe is actually running on the PC. If it is, you may have a networking/firewall issue. If not you may have a PATH issue.

I assume you are on Windows XP otherwise you have a very unsupported configuration. Maximizer 5 is pretty old and you may like to consider Maximizer CRM 11 which has many new features and full compatability with Windows 7.
