This is with Max 7 & Outlook Express ...

Right click on an Address Book entry, select email, and in the compose window there's a field to enter "Note Text". But the text doesn't show up in the Notes window. I can get around it by saving the email as a document, but would prefer to use the short note in many cases.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanx - R.

Thanx for the follow-up, but I finally dodged the bullet by switching to Outlook 2000 - works fine now.

However, I do not have the "Show Logged Notes" flag anywhere I can see. I checked all the Preferences and I do have all Logging set = Notes, but cannot see the flag you describe ... can you advise where I would look further?

Thanx again - R.
