You have to make sure that under the e-mail tab for preferences the override extended MAPI has to be checked. Then of course under system defaults both integration boxes need to be checked and the setting have to point to the correct database (which you have alread done). And I'm sure you know this but of course both applications have to be open (Outlook and Max). Hope this helps! If not I will see if I can think of anything else.

Have looked at the document and checked all the settings. The extended MAPI was not checked.

Max is now trying to synch but times out. I don't think it can find the database.

Our databse is on one of our servers, we have two users accessing from their laptops. The filepath looks as though outlook may be looking for the database on its own drive and not the server. I cannot see how I can change the location.

Any ideas??
