Anyone tried to use Maximizer 7 in a Terminal Services mode ???

I have setup a PC with 2000 Server with Terminal Services enabled, I can run Maximizer on the pc with no problems but when I tried from a remote session, I have this error message: "Local Engine is not accessible..."

But if I start Maximizer locally and then start it in a remote session, I have the message: " An invalide file name error occured on the 'Column' file.", I clicked ok and access to all feature of Maximizer.

Any ideas ?

Maximizer will only work with Terminal Services if you are running the SQL version or in Pervasive Client Server mode. The terminal server is loaded with the Pervasive Client. All components must be on the pervasive server. this includes the MXZDIR.DAT and the MXZHOL.NAM, target engine should be set to 1 (try server then workstation) I have only been able to get it to work with the SQL version. Multiactive will not support the terminal services setup, and understandabley so, thats What MaxExchange is for.

Yes, it is understandable from the point of view that "We won't support it because it might take away from our MaxExchange sales." However, if I was the manager of a large TS shop who wanted to deploy Maximizer I would no doubt be somewhat less understanding.
