Good Morning,

To access the backup utility within Maximizer Enterprise 9.5 Pervasive Versions you simply need to start the administrator program, ensure the database is not in use (no users logged in and no Max Exchange Running) then in the administrator make sure the database is closed (click file>>close address book).

The in the utilities menu you can access the Backup and Restore options which allow you to create backups of the databases on your system.

For SQL Version you will need to create a SQL Maintainence Plan for each database in the SQL Enterprise Manager as the inbuilt Maximizer functions for backup only work with Pervasive.
