Further to my query yesterday, I believe I have honed in on a descrepancy between Max Ent 9 SQL and it's associated SQL Tables.

As background we have recently upgraded from Max Ent 8 SQL to Max Ent 9 SQL and also upgraded Crystal Reports to Version 11.

Since implementing the U/G we have had no end of problems with Crystal 11 accessing certain data converted by Max 9. (and yes we have mapped the relevent fields)

In analyzing opportunities that were previously in Max 8 and existing prior to Max 9 we find as follows :-

Eg - In Progrsss (Status = 2) Opportunity

SQL Table Data
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Create Date - 7 March 2005
Start Date - 7 March 2005
Estimated Close Date - 31 March 2006
Close Date - Null
Last Modified Date - 18 August 2006
User Close Date - Not available
Last Update Date - 30 June 2006

Crystal Report
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Create Date - 7 March 2005
Start Date - 7 March 2005
Estimated Close Date - 31 March 2006
Close Date - Blank
Last Modified Date - 18 August 2006
User Close Date - Not available
Last Update Date - 30 June 2006

This is as would be expected as it is accessing the detail direct from SQL.

Maximizer Column View
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Create Date - 7 March 2005
Start Date - 7 March 2005
Estimated Close Date - Displays 18 August 2006 in the Close Date Section of the Basic Information Opportunity Screen
Close Date - Displays 18 August 2006 in the Close Date Section of the Status Opportunity Screen (Of course greyed out as it is In Progress)
Last Modified Date - 30 June 2006
User Close Date - 18 August 2006
Last Update Date - Not available in a Column View however confirmed as 30 June 2006 when looking at the History for the Opportunity

In summary
^^^^^^^^^^^

The above tends to suggest that when the Basic Information Close Date is updated for an In Progress Opportunity it is not being posted correctly into the SQL Estimated Close Date Field. Instead it is being posted into the SQL Last Modified Date.

Further more the Maximizer Last Modified Date is posting the data into the SQL Last Update Date rather than the SQL Last Modified Date.

Further more within Maximizer there is a new Column View Field labelled User Close Date which appears to display the Basic Information Close Date correctly. The only problem is that I cannot locate this field and access the data from the AMGR Opportunity Tbl.

Urgently seeking and looking forward to anyone elses guidance on this.
