I installed Max97is on a faster PC (NTW 4.0)for an upgrade and it will only run if I log on as a user with administrative rights.

I have tried creating a new user account on the domain controller but unless I give them administrative rights, they can't start Maximizer.

It runs fine as long as you use an account with administrative rights.

I'd appreciate any help with this one.

Thanks, Ian. I was logged into the domain when I installed it not the PC. I'll try it again as an administrator of the local machine.

Ian,
I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling after logging into the local PC as the administrator but I'm still getting the same symptoms, any user needs admin rights to open Maximizer. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Thanks, Ian.

It works fine if the user is an admin of the local machine or a member of the admin group in the domain.

I tried giving the group Everyone Full Control of the Registry hives HKey_Local_ Machine/Software/Maximizer Technologies and HKey_Current_User/Software/Maximizer Technologies but it had no effect - the only thing that works is if the user has admin rights on the domain or the local PC.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!
