maxexchange 5.5 and compaq palm CE

I have problems syncing two of our palm ce devices with maximizer enterprise through maxexchange for CE. On one it connects seem to sync but at the end of it I get a message stating " license information could not be verified on pc" this happened after I had to reinstall the maximizer for ce.

on the second one it connects changes port on the ce device and sends and recieves whatever it is supposed to but then hangs and all that is on the screen on the ce device is "registry" and "sent 49 of 49" i then have to reboot the ce device because it has hung.

Any help on either of these problems would be appreciated, i am not the companies maximizer expert but i have seen his level of competency and i am now taking over

I have a support bulletin that says:
