Greetings:
I am having multiple issues trying to get Maxexchange to correctly work with Outlook XP/2002. We are using Maximizer Enterprise 7.

1) I have followed the instructions on Maximizers Knowledgebase in upgrading my Maximizer to SP3. I even went ahead and applied both the Maxexchange hotfix and Maximizer hotfixes, bringing my Series to 1312 and Build 129. However, Outlook 2002 still balks, complaining that there is a program trying to access it, and when it sends a packet, it complains about that, forcing the user to answer Yes to the "Do you wish to allow this?" dialog it presents. Yes, the Overide Extended MAPI option is UNCHECKED.

2) When Maxexchange attempts to send a packet through Outlook, Each and every time the user is given the following message when it tries to send the packet back to the server:

None of your e-mail accounts could send to this recipient.

We even went as far as to ensure that the Maxexchange servers E-mail address is in the address book as an SMTP recipient, and it STILL refuses to send the packet.

Any and all help would be Greatly appreciated.

Ray,

I am afraid to say that issues like this are not uncommon when using Max Exchange via e-mail. We would always recommend that you setup your Max Exchange system to sync via FTP rather than via e-mail.

If you setup the Max Exchange Server to sync via FTP and then setup a VPN for your remotes to connect into the LAN via the internet you will find that the system is much more reliable.
