I am new to this forum. We just signed up as a dealer for maximizer and I would like to install the program on our server. we are using a HP proliant dual xeon 3.0 processor running windows 2008 .
we are a small company and we want to use the software internally to keep track of contacts and emails and a little bit of mail marketing. mostly appointment, call backs and emails. I also want to use max mobile for my blackberry.
I would like to know this forums opinion on which version to install on the server.
also for the workstations do I need to install the workstation software or can I create a shortcut from the server on the workstation ?
We have been using for many many years Goldmine and I fed up with the high cost of maintenance and it has become too costly for our customers.
Data import. I know that Maximizer has an import utility for Goldmine BUT rumour is that is does work properly. So we have exported our data (contacts) using companionlink pro 3.0 to outlook 2007. What do we need to do import the contacts into maximizer ?
