We just installed Max 12 on our network and we all use Outlook 2010 for our email.

I am trying to set Maximizer to use Calibri 11 font when sending emails. In Maximizer, I have gone into Setup > Preferences > EMAIL tab and changed the settings so that Messages are composed using my email service provider's editor (AKA, Outlook).

I have also checked the box so that messages ARE composed in HTML

I then clicked the "Fonts" button on the email tab and changed all three font options to Calibri 11.

Then, under the Outlook Synchronization tab, I have chosen "Outlook Overrides" for Conflict Resolution so that Outlook's settings supercede anything from Maximizer.

Finally, in Outlook, I have Calibri 11 font for every type of message.

However, when composing emails from Maximizer, the font always reverts to Times New Roman 12, unless I switch to Plain Text email in Maximizer. I really need my emails to remain in HTML, so this does not help me. I also don't want to have to manually change the font to Calibri 11 everytime I send an email.

Is there any reason why Maximizer would behave like this? This is not an issue on any of the other computers in the office - all of which run Outlook 10 and Max 12.

Insight appreciated.

Thanks.

I see no one has answered this. Did you figure out a resolution? I am having trouble with composing emails in Max 12 too (I use Outlook 10, as well). My problem is 1. the pic with my signature will not show up in the new email, 2. the fonts stay the same but formatting is lost (ie. italics & varying sizes).
The signature in Outlook works fine but I would prefer to email right from Max.
I sure hope someone can help with this.
I think we have discovered a somewhat counter-intuitive solution to this for Outlook 2007 and 2010.
We took roughly the same steps as JVG Co, and then discovered it works if you UNCHECK the box for composing messages in HTML, as well as uncheck the box "Add AutoSignature to outgoing emails" (under the AutoSignature button).
We manage our signatures in Outlook - just need to manually add one to every message.
Hope this helps and is satisfactory.
Note: we also ignored the settings on the "Outlook Synchronisation" tab (currently set to "Maximizer CRM overrides".
