Can any one help me on this ?
My organization is evaluating maximizer 7 using 30-day evaluation version. Everything works great except Outlook integration.
I have now installed maximizer on 5 separate boxes(win200 or XP) and none of these installations
can integrate calendar with MS Outlook.
I have read every available topic about this
on Multiactive knowledgebase, but to no avail.
Does anybody know if this is feature of non-registered version ?
Or do language settings play a role (finland)?
All my installations funtion in this way:
The email view of maximizer show e-mails and calendar entries if they created from Outlook.
The calendar view, however, does not update Outlook calendar nor vice versa.
Multiactive is not very helpful on this. Their telephone support was unable to give any clues what might be the cause of my trouble.
some tecnical data:
I have tried the installation on 2000/machines
having outlook2002/XP
The maximizer outlook integration add-on is selected on the outlook configuration.
Maximizer preferences are set to have both
m2o & o2m syncronization. in this i use one of the sample address books provided with maximizer.
Multiactive knowledgebse list sync issues
on fattach_get.php.doc that can be downloaded from there.
One tip on from this document is to check
if
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Multiactive Software\Maximizer\Modules\AMGR\AutomationID –
AddressBookName=<address book name>
AddressBookPath=<address book directory>
UID=<user name>
is correctly available in windows registry.
Maximizer on all of the installed boxes
has created them under:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Multiactive Software\Maximizer\Modules\AMGR\AutomationID –
So there is something inacurate on the Multiactive
document. Can anyone confirm this ?
i have also tried to create the registry entries under location listed in multiactive document but still not working.
Any info is appreciated ?
