I have been having an odd problem with Maximizer 7. Occasionally after modifying a contact, when I click on OK, the company entry is changed! The company name becomes the last name of the contact. The entire address and all phone numbers are erased from the company entry. Then when I correct the company entry, it still shows the title of the contact in the company entry. When I go to print an envelope for the company, it prints "Mr." company name, along with the contact's title. When I go to the contact, none of my changes were put in, the original remains.

It happens randomly. Using Maximizer 7 as stand alone on a Dell Inspiron 7500, 256 mb ram, 27 gig free space. Laptop on home network. Any suggestions?

I have the same random problem where a company entry is changed and becomes the last name of the contact. It erases all company info and puts contact info in. The "Mr" also prints on any letters or faxes that I print.

I am planning to install Max. on a new laptop running XP - is it better to use the Outlook or Outlook express for my email?

Are there any things I should know when doing the install?

Thanks
If my memory serves me correct, I resolved that issue by disabling the order desk module of Maximizer. I don't use this module, so it wasn't a problem for me. I haven't noticed this specific problem coming up again after I did that.

I think you need to use Outlook, workgroup edition with Maximizer. Probably needs to be installed under the administrator heading. I am using with Dell laptop running XP (home edition) and seems to be running good now. Although I did have some issues with the service release 2 on Maximizer Link, but that is now operating correctly.
