Appreciate some guidance for the pool of experience out there...
I am developing a measure of overall sales contact activity outside of pure sales revenue and margin attainable through the Max opportunity module.
Under Crystal I can print reports for both Notes (AMGR_Notes) and Documents (AMGR_Letters) versus USER (User_Details) by Date. Works just fine as separate reports.
However when I combine both Notes and Documents into the same report I don't appear to be able to set up the correct links between the tables or formulate the correct searches. The problem appears due to the Date Field for Notes Entered differs (obviously) from the Date Field for Documents Entered and I can't find a way to create a common date to search on linking to both date fields.
Basically want I to do is to total Notes Entered (Count) + Documents Entered (Count) by USER by Month in a Fiscal Year.
Any suggestions or other approaches most welcome ???
