maximizer 97is & error code 20

I am running Max97is on a 5-user peer-to-peer network. 4 of the 5 pc's open Maximizer perfectly but when trying to open Maximizer on one of them I get an error code 20: Datamanager Inactive error occured on the 'User' file. The Btrieve program must be loaded prior to loading this program. This occured immediately after upgrading all the pc's to pervasive ver. 9.6. What should I do to rectify this issue?

Good Afternoon,

Error code 20 often occurs when you attempt to start Maximizer before Pervasive has fully loaded.

I would copy the shortcut to the Start Workgroup Engine (under the Pervasive program group in the start menu) to the Startup folder, that way Pervasive will load with Windows.

However, please be aware that you are running an extremely old version of Maximizer and is not certified to work with versions of Pervasive/BTrieve other than the one shipped with it.
