Maximizer database synchronization with Pervasive DataExchange?

I think the best answer to your question is "not likely".

Several years ago I was at a Maximizer training course for their SQL version. One of the questions that came up was "Can we use SQL Server replication instead of MaxExchange?" The answer (my paraphrasing) was "No, because in order for SQL Server replication to function correctly the database has to be designed for SQL Server replication, and Maximizer databases are not set up that way."

I suspect that Maximizer databases are not designed for Pervasive DataExchange synchronization either.

As far as we are aware Maximizer Databases do not support Pervasive DataExchange.

This is inherent in the way the database in constructed and I would expect, as Gord has pointed out, that you would run into similar problems try to use this as you would with SQL Replication.
