Hello everyone, I have been struggling today with some issues with MaxExchange in a SQL environment.

I am running MaxExchange 9, latest patches SP1HF2 Max Ent 9.

I have recently added a domain VPN server, so the ability to do MaxExchange has returned.

I am trying to do an FTP connection, but am finding that I am unable to setup a remote connection.

Looking on Maximizer's Tech Support, it tells me to open up the CMD prompt, and try some ftp connections. I am able to get the appropriate screen with the Guest user, but cannot get the maxexchange user to be able to log in. Every time I try, i get an error 530 user invalid. I have restarted both the server, and the maxexchange server numerous times, reset the password under the Server Settings in MaxExchange Site Administrator, and checked / unchecked the Remote Enable Connections.

Also, I have changed the ports and am able to connect to the appropriate directories using FTP with the Guest access.

Is there any way to see what the password it is expecting for the maxexchange user is. (I recall a long time ago that the Maxexchange password was slow to change when changed, or something similar)

Also, maxexchange remote still displays my site as having 5ftp connections and 1 network connection remote, while i have deleted both Distribution Sites and files, but it continues to Process old sites that have been deleted.

Thanks,

Riley Smith
