Maximizer Multiactive Form Controls (Run time error 13)

When linking a maximizer field to a multiactive textbox control has anyone ever seen a
"Run time error '13' Type Mismatch" ?

I seem to be having this error when trying to link Numeric fields with decimal places set to 0?

the form also loses other link information between the controls / database and funny lines go through the text box on the development form / controls. Very weird!!

Any help appreciated
