Ive come across an irritating problem with setting up company wide templates such as order confirmations and alike. Users are spread over several floors, each having access to only their nearest network printers. If a template is created on one floor it (and merged documents) cannot be printed on the others. The message - No printer Found Use Page setup to setup a printer is given. You get this on every merged document. If you change the Print Setup of the template then the original floor has the same problem. I could create copies of the same templates for each workgroup but wow! what a waste of time. How do I get all users wherever they are to be able to print a merged public template?
